Meet Justin Kreamer, Hanzo’s senior enterprise executive. Justin brings his friendly spirit of team collaboration and his thirst for knowledge, to work every day. He is always learning and sharpening the proverbial saw so that he can bring a breadth of experience consulting with companies on complex dynamic data challenges impacting their ediscovery and compliance responsibilities.
What problems are you currently solving? How does it benefit the customer?
Justin: Currently, I consult with corporate legal and compliance professionals from large enterprises regarding their requirements and challenges with preserving dynamic web content and collaboration data for ediscovery and regulatory compliance. Recently, I presented a webinar that focused specifically on capturing dynamic web content and how to overcome the challenges.
What is your favorite aspect of working for a legal technology company?
Justin: Working at Hanzo has introduced me to a plethora of knowledgeable and thoughtful people. Being a lifelong learner, it's exciting that legal tech has allowed me to meet C-suite executives from some of the world's best companies. My goal is to consult with clients and impart knowledge from my experience supporting enterprise legal and compliance teams with their complex dynamic web archiving and collaboration data management challenges. The delightful surprise with this role is that it never gets old. While there are many common lessons, I find that I always learn something new from the people I have the opportunity to help.
What is your philosophy about problem-solving/work/ life?
Justin: I've always been a proponent of working through all angles. In my personal life, I try to give myself a best and worst-case scenario and then systematically go through all the different ways to solve my problems. That same approach applies to my day-to-day work as well.
"I've always been a proponent of working through all angles.... I try to give myself a best and worst-case scenario and then systematically go through all the different ways to solve my problems."
What is your favorite thing to do when you're not working?
Justin: My wife and I recently had a baby. It’s great to see my daughter’s face light up as she discovers new things. Any time I can spend with my family is important to me.
Additionally, I’m a huge sports fan — so no matter the season, you can find me watching or playing sports.
Where do you live?
Justin: We just bought a home in Chappaqua, New York. It’s in Westchester County, 40 minutes outside of New York.
Favorite place to take guests to experience the best of your city?
Justin: I’m really in the suburbs, but if we can count Yankee Stadium as “my city,” nothing beats that. When I say I am a sports fan, I am not kidding! 🤣
What is the most surprising thing you’ve learned after a year of lockdown?
Justin: Lockdown was a time full of change for my family. We bought a house, had a baby, and my wife started a new job. While I think 2020 was an awful year, my silver linings were crystal clear, and for that, I am grateful. Overall, I truly learned why they say “it takes a village” and I have to say that I missed mine tremendously this past year. I also really, really miss restaurants.
Anything else you want to share?
Justin: Working at Hanzo has been an incredible experience. In my time at the company, I have worked with a number of hugely successful people who have taught me a ton. I am thankful for the ongoing learning and I count myself as very fortunate to work here and look forward to doing so for a long time to come!
