Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, collaboration app usage has skyrocketed, with one study finding usage increasing by more than 1000% between March and December of 2020. And even with a return to more normal day-to-day life, the remote workplace is here to stay with an estimated 36.2 million workers working remotely by the year 2025.
This increased usage of new data sources also creates potentially discoverable ESI should litigation arise, which can bring about unforeseen challenges for legal teams.
